Fort Myers Beach Cruiser’s Appreciation Day, Noon – 3pm, Saturday, April 18, 2020
The Town of Fort Myers Beach will again celebrate Cruiser’s Appreciation Day and the success of its 70 mooring ball field from Noon – 3pm on Saturday, April 18th. The mooring field is located on the Gulf of Mexico, near the western intersection of the Great Loop Route, Intracoastal Waterway and the Caloosahatchee River. It has been providing a wonderful sub-tropical destination for waterway cruisers for many years, including easy access to one of the world’s finest beaches. Cruiser’s Appreciation Day will have food and beverages, live entertainment, and a raffle with items donated by local businesses.
The celebration will be at Matanzas by the Bay under the Matanzas Pass Bridge. Matanzas by the Bay is the upland service provider for the mooring field and will help sponsor the event along with the Anchorage Advisory Committee for the Town of Fort Myers Beach. We hope you will consider coming for the weekend, using our mooring field and attending the event. If you are unable to come by boat, please come by car and join us!
