We had a fun motorsail up to Fort Pierce on Monday morning with 10-14 knot winds on the Starboard quarter (for you non-sailors that means mostly behind us, which is fun). We got to Fort Pierce in time for me to ride one of the nifty bicycles that Fred & Jeannie Gerht loaned to us 3-miles to the West Marine. Paula had to get a picture.
That evening we had a great dinner at Cobb’s Landing, which is actually a tiki hut bar & restaurant named after the original general store. Fort Pierce has a massive improvement project underway. The completed portions, plus their future plans make this stop on the Inter-coastal Waterway (ICW) quite an attraction.
