Kayusa Cruise

September 13 - September 15

Free

Cruise Leaders: To Be Determined

Join us at South Seas Resort on Captiva for two days of relaxation.  There are 3 resort pools, a golf course, and a beautiful white sandy beach.  Servers await you poolside and beachside.  Meet up at Sunset at the Beach to make a wish on a shell.  Take the trolley to dinner at one of the many restaurants nearby or eat at the restaurant in the marina.  It’s also a great opportunity for our cruisers to participate in a casual race honoring long-time member Betty Kayusa.

This is a traditional cruise held in conjunction with the Kayusa Cup Race. South Seas Resort & Marina is one of southwest Florida’s premier destinations.

Reservations at South Seas Marina must be made on your own. Contact Charles Martz at 1-888-777-3625.

Our group rate is yet to be determined. It’s never too early toreserve a slip and the deadline is August 14. This is a great way to enjoy all that South Seas has to offer for a fantastic price.

The Kayusa Cup Race is in honor of Bob and Betty Kayusa, long time members of CMCS.

The cruisers arrive and enjoy a happy hour on Friday. We’re hoping all of those planning to cruise up will join us. Cocktails and appetizers will be around the marina at 5 pm that evening.

The race takes place on, Sunday for the return trip home. We hope that all the racers will come early and join the cruisers. Also, cruisers are welcome to join the racers as they head back home Sunday. Some cruisers also plan to head back home on Monday.

The simple form below will email our cruise leaders that you plan to attend the cruise. (Not for slip reservations.)
