We will race along the Gulf side of Captiva Island and Sanibel Island, finishing at or about the San Carlos Light (SC Light). The objective of this course allows everybody, cruisers and racers, to enjoy the whole weekend at the South Seas Resort. It also allows our cruisers who may typically not race, to sail back home with the racing fleet.
This race honors Betty and Bob Kayusa who were long-time members of CMCS and avid racers. The Kayusa Cup is a perpetual trophy awarded to the yacht with the best overall corrected time for the race.
The cost is free, but please inform the inform the race committee if you plan to participate. The simple form below will email your intention.
