On Wednesday, March 4 we met Connie Langmann at Big Hickory Pass for a kayak tour of the water and mangrove tunnels. There is always something to learn when you get so close to nature. We talked about zooplankton, oyster spit, the mangroves role in the environment, brown pelicans, egrets, ibis, herons and so much more.
No more events are planned at this time due to the need to practice social distancing. It’s a good time to work on your boat, practice knots, sew a few cushions, or spend the night out on the hook (no gathering for happy hour!)
