We stayed put for a day to dry out a bit, visit the really nice farmers’ market at the park across the street, and because my sister Valerie came over from DeLeon Springs to visit. We walked through New Smyrna Beach’s (NSB) beach town area along Flagler Ave. Lots of neat little shops. Definitely more quaint than Fort Myers Beach. Had a very nice lunch at Cafe Verde. Annie found a shop (doggy bakery) she really liked and had to buy some treats. Steve – Val’s significant other – joined us for afternoon cocktails on Freestyle and dinner at Dolphin View, a great little local place with a really good White Fish Ruben sandwich. We had a great evening. No storms tonight!
Overall, this marina is very nice, and the people are all very friendly. Got to say, we like this place.
