Well, once again we have proven that CMCS Members know how to have a good time! The Bloody Mary Brunch was held on May 7 at the CCYC Pavilion on a brilliant breezy day. Carol Pim & family provided the Bloodies with a slew of fabulous accoutrements, and the Liberty Ashore team cobbled together a yummy brunch of baked eggs, hot sausages, fruit salad, and an assortment of pastries. We had 50 attendees – the racers enjoyed sharing tall stories about the lively Jerry Pim Memorial Estebel Night Race the evening before, and the non-racers enjoyed listening!
Thanks to all of the volunteers who made it successful – George & Pixie Noyes were fabulous and entertaining mixologists, Jim Slager slaved over a hot frying pan of sizzling sausages and served them up with a smile, Bill Cook slaved in front of a hot oven of egg casseroles and delivered them warm to the waiting crowd, and the Stiers, the Pfeiffenbergers, and Debbie Blum worked tirelessly to assist Wendy & Julie with set-up, registration and clean up. Everyone left with a full belly and a smile on their face!
