Tuesday – September 3rd: Bull Island, SC

Today we had an easy 40-mile run down toward Charleston. Bull Island is a National Preserve. The claim it is the largest “Island Preserve” on the East Coast. We are anchored just on the West side of the island, and we once again feel like we’re in the middle of nowhere – maybe we are. Acres and acres of swamp grass. We’ve left all those beautiful Cypress tree far behind. An evening shower cooled things off, so we’ll be just fine with no AC tonight.
