Jerry Pim Memorial Estebel Race

This is an annual event that in the past had a cruise to Pink Shell and a “Fun Race” in the Gulf.  Due to “Ian”, no cruise, but still a fun race and brunch the next day.  In honor of this year’s repeat Commodore, Bob Lee, it is unofficially “Good Riddance Ian"

The “Fun Race” starting line will be set up around Green Marker #3 just outside of Matanzas Pass Entrance.

The course will be determined by the wind direction and announced on VHF channel 72. The race committee will be in a center console power boat

The start window will begin at 11:00 and go to 11:15. That means you can cross the Start line anytime in that window and that will be your official start time. Please check in via radio any time before 11:00 with Boat Name, Sail # and folks on board.

All legs will be a reach. No rating certificates are needed, just show up, have fun and we will assign you a class and a handicap. There is no entry fee. 

As always the coveted “Caboose” lantern will be awarded to the highest corrected time.
